2009 TSX Color and Trim Information

Edited 1/18/2008: We received our first allocation for 2009. This will be for March production with April delivery. We're ordering 18 cars for our first batch. While this might sound like a lot of cars, remember that with 8 exterior colors, 3 interior colors, two trim levers and two transmissions. There are about 64 possible combinations! I am relieved that there is going to be a 6-speed manual transmission. Frankly, I've had a few moments of doubt that we would continue to offer a stick!

Edited 1/12/2008: Acura has informed us that our first opportunity to order the all new TSX will arrive shortly. These cars are intended for March production with late April delivery. The new car has been designed to reassert the TSXs position as Acura's entry level sport sedan. The second generation TSX will be available in two trim levels.

Standard TSX: The standard model will mirror the feature set on the base RDX. This means that the luxury features that are available on the current base TSX will carry over and be supplemented by "new luxury amenities and audio capabilities that will all contribute the the new TSXs added appeal"

Technology Package: Again, this will mirror the feature set of the RDX Tech package and will include Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition with new functionality. AcuraLink Satellite Communication system (where XM is available), and a new 10 speaker Acura ELS Premium 10 speaker surround sound system.

There is no word on powertrains at this time and as I noted earlier, the first look at the new body design will come sometime in April.
