The 2006 Acura TSX
The TSX has been a standout for Acura since it’s early 2003 introduction. It has consistently outsold Acura’s sales projections. For 2006 the three time Car & Driver “10 Best” award winner, receives a host of styling and performance upgrades. Revisions to the intake and exhaust systems boost horsepower to 205 with the new rating system (it probably would have been 215 on the old system!).
Interior convenience features have been added as well. We now have the Bluetooth Hands Free Link system standard. TSX owners can now “pair” compatible cellular phones with the car and make and receive calls without handling the phone using voice commands. Also new is the drivers seat position memory that memorizes two different settings for the driver's seat, A/C and radio preferences.
A Maintenance Minder System is now standard and will prompt owners to bring the car in for service based on each owners’ driving conditions. The new front bumper has neatly integrated fog lights and a new, more aggressive grill. There are new 9 spoke 17” alloy wheels and extended lower side sills that wrap into a newly styled rear bumper.
