The 2001 Acura MDX Premier Party

The all new MDX made it’s Hawaii debut in September and as usual Pflueger Acura had a premier party. I’ve attended parties for the original CL, RL, TL and again for the new CL, but I’ve never seen a response like the one we had for the MDX. We probably had more than 150 people in attendance and just about everyone got a chance to drive one of the new 240 horsepower SUVs.

Since it’s introduction, the MDX has garnered praise from the automotive press, culminating in Motor Trend naming it the SUV of the Year, and it’s recent award of North American Truck of the Year at the Detroit International Auto show.

The list of standard features is too long to list here, I’ll have more information on my web page soon, including some technical information on the operation of the VTM-4 all-wheel drive system and some of the special features like the 7 passenger seating that folds into a perfectly flat cargo floor. As I write this we are totally out of stock and have a waiting list 12-14 names long! Trust me, it’s worth the wait.
